Cheap EPCs flood the internet for the non-discerning who require only a piece of paper to satisfy government legislation. Click here to see how this is done and to decide if this works for you. We contend that as the EPC is legally valid for 10 years ( though we do not agree that this should be the case! ), any EPC should be produced as accurately as is humanly possible. This is why at Wirral EPCs the domestic energy assessor will normally require upto an hour on site to collect all the data required for producing the EPC, and is also why our fee, whilst negotiable, is on average in the region of £45-55 ( VAT-free ) and not £24.95 + VAT.
